Privacy Policy

DayKept is designed as a local-first personal archive. Core writing, search, and archive data stay on your device unless you explicitly export or share them.
What the app stores on device
DayKept stores journals, entries, tags, local settings, and backup metadata on your device so the app can function.
What DayKept does not do by default
- No mandatory account to write or search.
- No DayKept-operated cloud sync in v1.
- No routine upload of archive content to a DayKept backend for normal app use.
Exports and sharing you trigger
If you export a backup or share an entry, the selected data leaves the app only because you initiated that action.
Purchases
On Android, the one-time Pro unlock is processed through Google Play Billing.
